WHO WE ARE

Brad Anderson is Owner & Photographer of Photo One Studios in Galway has been teaching workshops in the West of Ireland for the past 15 years and would present to your group a series of photography challenges using smart phones to engage and inspire your staff.

WHAT WE DO

The day will start with a discussion on Photography vs Smart Phones and the importance of looking at light & light sources to make the most of your "Camera" (In this case Smart Phones).

This will also include explanations on working with people (making it fun and interesting) and how to conceptualize things. Then a brief discussion on exposure, turning on and off the flash and adjusting brightness etc. with a clear description on looking for and using the best light.

The main goal of the day is to break into teams (5-6 people per group) and give each group their "Photo Assignments

The assignments are meant to be fun and interactive allowing them find out how to make people comfortable in front of the camera and working together as a group to achieve a shared goal.

WHAT THE DO

Their tasks will be to take photos using their Camera Phones in about 3/4 different Photo Assignments. In the end we will announce a winning team as well as “Most Interesting , Best Shot, Most Creative Etc” with the Group. (Shown to all the Participants).

Other Useful Info:

Min or Max Group: I suggest about 20-30 people in groups of 4 or 5 people per group.

Location: Galway but I can/do travel so small fee if Dublin etc

Duration: Approx 2-3 Hours but can be changed to suit any time frames really, as in Full Day or Coffee Morning

Cost: Please contact us for a quote with particular details of your event and amount of people etc.

Etc: The Event would be very hands on and give each participant a chance to be a photographer and a subject, learn how to take a good picture with a phone for profile photos/products/groups etc and have fun doing it.
